Welcome to Tandem Careplanning! Our company was founded with the mission to elevate the in-home care experience for both care seekers and caregivers. We work with our clients to make it possible to age in place with a community of exceptional caregivers and a dedicated Care Team that is with you every step of the way.

Companionship is an important piece of the puzzle as we work to help our clients thrive. Even in big cities like LA, it is common to feel alone. Rewarding interactions with caregivers provide an excellent antidote to isolation.

people_with_purposeTandem Careplanning was founded by Joshua and Lisa Greer – a husband and wife team who’ve gained significant acclaim for their entrepreneurship and civic contributions.

When the Greers found themselves in need of care for an aging parent they were mostly disappointed with the experience and the lack of options when they sought alternatives. The standard agency model lacked the flexibility and attention to detail that they sought, while referral-based services and online companies failed to provide adequate screening, caregiver selection, and follow-on support. The focus seemed to be on short-term needs and availability, rather than personalized, continuous care.

For Joshua and Lisa, the big revelation was understanding that all those involved need to feel valued and respected for the caregiving relationship to thrive.

Our team offers continuous support, guidance, and empowerment to everyone, at every step of their unique journey. Caregiving can and should be a rewarding career and a positive experience for individuals on the receiving end.

Our Team

Joshua Greer has been identifying new technologies and turning them into profitable products and businesses for over 25 years. Formerly as co-founder and president of RealD, his ability to recognize early technology and market trends while quickly generating and locking up critical intellectual property allowed the company to become the industry leader in 3D technology across cinema, consumer electronics, and medical applications. Joshua is a frequent speaker on technology and business and is involved with a number of medical initiatives at Cedars-Sinai, Children's Hospital, and 11Health. He is a 2011 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

Steven Raft is an award-winning operations and finance executive with over 20 years of C-level experience. He was most recently the COO and CFO for Alfred Music, the world’s second-largest print music publisher where he spearheaded a $50 million recapitalization. Before that, he was the COO/CFO for 2 Los Angeles area real estate development and construction companies where he arranged over $275 million of financing, and the CFO of Cerwin-Vega, the world-renowned Academy Award-winning loudspeaker manufacturer. In 2015, Steven was the recipient of the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s CFO of Year Award after being a finalist in three separate years and was a finalist for the 2013 Los Angeles Business Journal CFO of the Year Award. He holds a B.Sc in Accounting and was a practicing CPA from 1985 to 1997.

Ali D’Andrea has been creating award-winning marketing campaigns, connecting brands, and engaging consumers for nearly 15 years across the entertainment and technology industries. Most recently, Ali served as VP of Marketing at Live Nation, where she connected music fans across the country with bespoke promotions, marketing campaigns, and new ticketing products. Before Live Nation, Ali developed marketing partnerships at Yahoo!, was instrumental in the launch of The Oprah Winfrey Network and successfully opened over 40 films during her tenure at Twentieth Century Fox in the National Promotions group.

Brian Liebenthal is a veteran call center executive with over 20 years of cross-industry experience spanning travel, finance, and health care. Brian's in-depth knowledge of direct response combined with strong analytical skills and management concepts have served him well in building high performing and efficient call centers. Brian was an early adopter of cloud-based technology as a means of efficiently scaling operations and has been a keynote speaker on this topic throughout the USA and Asia. Before joining Tandem, Brian led the Bosley Medical contact center operation. Under his leadership, Bosley grew from a single-site call center in Beverly Hills to a global direct response contact center in the USA, Asia, and Mexico. Brian's experience in managing outsourced, multi-site operations, and his passion for analytics have had a significant impact on bottom-line results and profitability.
