What Qualifications Do I Need?
We’re looking for caring, licensed Home Care Aides (HCAs) in the state of California with a valid driver’s license.
All applicants require a smartphone. Your phone is your portal to Tandem and will help our care providers complete daily job tasks.

It’s simple. Once you’ve completed the application and onboarding process and been hired, the Tandem Care Team will work with you to build your roster of clients. Then, you can manage your schedule and access additional training through our app. We are here to support you 100%.
Tandem Careplanning is your employer. We are a certified home care agency and you will become a W-2 employee. You will be paid bi-weekly via direct deposit for any shifts worked. Employment taxes will be withheld automatically.
You’ll set your own availability on a weekly basis and work with our Care Team to build your schedule. You can schedule your care services part-time or full-time depending on your availability. You can access your schedule at any time via our scheduling app on your smartphone.
Tandem is your ally—you can call our Care Team any time. You’ll also receive up-to-date client information along the way to help keep you informed and prepared on the job.
Yes! You will go through our Care Club training when you first join our team and you’ll have continued access to valuable, online caregiver educational courses. These courses include training on activities of daily living and specialty care, all with a focus on caring for seniors and the elderly. Completing these courses may lead to career growth and greater client satisfaction on the job.
