How does Tandem work?
It’s simple. Start by completing our online application. Once you’ve been accepted into our network, you’ll receive job requests directly from clients. Then, automatically manage your schedule, payments, and profile online. We are here to support you 100%.
Who's my employer? How am I paid?
Your client is your employer. You will become a W-2 employee of any client who hires you through Tandem. You will be paid bi-weekly via direct deposit (through the Tandem platform) and employment taxes will be withheld automatically.
How will I be scheduled?
You’ll set your own availability on a weekly basis and work with our Care Team to build your schedule. You can access your schedule any time via your online dashboard or smartphone.
Who do I turn to for support?
Tandem is your ally—you can call our Care Team any time. You’ll also receive up-to-date client information along the way to help keep you informed and prepared on the job.
Do you provide training?
Yes! You’ll have access to valuable, online caregiver educational courses throughout your time with Tandem. Completing these courses may lead to more opportunities, increased pay, and greater client satisfaction on the job.
